Abstract:

In this paper, we present a bibliometric study of text entry research between 2018 and mid-2022. From this analysis, we identify the per- formance and relative challenges facing the text entry community, on the road to the next decade of research. We identify the community’s low collaboration practices as a main barrier to progress, and propose several ideas on how to overcome this challenge.
